Barbados' borders reopened Sunday and the stars are
returning. One of the first to reach the island is
rapper/actor Drake. The 33-year-old Canadian arived
around 10 a.m. on Air Drake - his private aircraft.
After three-months of lockdown, curfews and
restrictions to fight the spread of the coronavirus
COVID-19, commercial flights are also resuming at the
Grantley Adams International Airport.
The Government of Barbados last month announced
the phased return of airlines from Canada, England and Europe, the United States and the rest of the Caribbean.
Prime Minister Mia Mottley has also been appearing on various radio and television networks touting the
benefits of the Barbados 12 Month Welcome Stamp
which allows people to live and work here for a year.
