Eastern Caribbean Outlook
Today: The weak surface to low-level shearline will continue to generate a few isolated showers under occasionally cloudy skies, over the extreme northern Leewards. Meanwhile, Barbados and the rest of the region will experience fair to partly cloudy conditions, as the surface to mid-level Atlantic high pressure system remains the dominant feature.
Thursday: By this time, conditions over the extreme northern Leewards are predicted to improve as the aforementioned surface to low-level shearline migrates slightly northwards. Consequently, the Atlantic high pressure system will dominate conditions across the entire island chain. This feature along with a relatively dry and stable atmospheric profile will allow for minimal shower activity to be experienced. Friday: The Atlantic high pressure system will maintain its dominance across the eastern Caribbean.
