Good Morning and Happy Sabbath brethren and friends
This morning I want to remind you, that Jesus can Calm the COVID-19 storm that we are all facing today. In Matthew 8:23 – 27, Jesus and His disciples were crossing the Sea of Galilee in a boat when a furious storm came up on the lake. The disciples were scared, their immediate reaction was to wake Jesus and as they did so, they said to him “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” Today, like the disciples, we face a furious storm that not only threatens the Caribbean but the entire world. As we run to Jesus like the disciples, we too say to him “Lord, save us! We’re going to die!’’
Jesus in response to His disciples replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.
Brethren and Friends, I believe today, Jesus is saying the very same thing to us, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Let us, therefore, exercise faith knowing that we serve a living God who is able to rebuke the winds and the waves of COVID 19, putting an end to the pandemic.
