Synopsis: The Atlantic high pressure system is the dominant feature.

Eastern Caribbean Outlook Today: Across Barbados and the island chain, the Atlantic high pressure system will remain the dominant feature. Furthermore, a largely subsident mid to upper-level pattern will remain over the area helping to limit any notable shower activity. Despite this, shallow low-level cloud patches moving along the high pressure's southwestern periphery will trigger brief showers. In addition, a weak concentration of Saharan dust will be visible across the region Wednesday: No significant change in the overall weather pattern is expected. However, the upper-level subsident pattern is expected to begin to gradually dampen, with a more zonal upper-level flow predicted to develop over the area.
