Eastern Caribbean Outlook
Today: The aforementioned low-level trough is expected to weaken as it moves through the eastern Caribbean. However, low-level equatorial moisture being advected northward by a south to south-easterly low-level wind-flow will begin to affect Barbados and the southern Windwards during the morning period, before gradually spreading across the remainder of the region. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with occassional light to moderate showers are expected across these islands at this time. Moreover, an upper-level jet over the region may support enhanced isolated showers, however a suppressive and dry mid-level environment is likely to suppress widespread deep convective shower activity.
