Synopsis: A tropical wave is affecting the island.
Forecast: Fair to partly cloudy at first, becoming generally cloudy and hazy with scattered showers and a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms.

Seas: Slight to moderate in open water with swells from 1.0m to 1.5m.
Eastern Caribbean Outlook
Today: The tropical wave will continue to affect Barbados and subsequently the Windwards and southern Leewards by tonight. As a result. partly cloudy to cloudy skies and scattered light to moderate shower activity is predicted across these parts.
Furthermore, a mid to upper level diffluent pattern just to the east of Barbados may provide some support for deep convective cloud development, despite the presence of the SAL across the region. Elsewhere, the Atlantic high pressure system will be the dominant feature.
