Eastern Caribbean Outlook
Today: The tropical wave analyzed along 54W at 0600UTC will continue to affect Barbados and the Windward islands during the morning and into the afternoon. At this time, intermittent light to moderate showers are expected. Additionally, a lingering TUTT cell over the area may provide enhancement, leading to isolated deep convection. By nightfall, similar conditions are expected over the Leeward islands. However, a temporary reduction in shower activity is possible over southern sections of the region due to dry mid-level conditions hindering activity.
Barbados forecast Max/Min Temps: 31/25.
Wednesday: The tropical wave will continue to affect the region wit similar conditions expected to persist across Barbados and the eastern Caribbean into the latter part of the afternoon. Thereafter, a deep layered ridge pattern will start to build over island chain and as a result improved weather conditions. However, analysis is suggesting that associated confluence may trigger brief passing showers mainly over the north of the region as the night progresses.
