Today: A tropical wave presently analyzed along 59/60W (at 6 AM/1000 UTC) will be affecting Barbados and the southern Windward islands. As a result, cloudy skies and some scattered showers are expected across the aforementioned areas with possible isolated thunderstorms.
The presence of an upper-level jet in combination with an upper-level trough positioned to the west of the island chain is likely to add enhancement to the wave. Elsewhere, weak surface to low level confluence will trigger some scattered showers and occasionally cloudy skies.
During the night, a weak shear-line is expected to pass across the Leewards and northern Windwards, leading to an increase in cloudiness and showers activity over these islands. Barbados forecast Max/Min Temps: 29/23.
