Eastern Caribbean Outlook
Tonight: A tropical wave analyzed at 52W at 1800UTC will begin to affect Barbados and the eastern Caribbean towards daybreak. However, current model data suggests initially low-level moisture and instability preceding the wave axis will move over the central portion of the region, it also indicates that relatively dry mid-level conditions may not support sustained convective activity. Nevertheless, a few scattered showers under occasional cloudiness are anticipated over the area.
Saturday: The aforementioned tropical wave will continue to affect Barbados and the region. Scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms are expected during this time over the area. During the night the Atlantic high-pressure system will begin to rebuild over the island chain.
